Random Thought #1

These posts called "Random Thought" will be happening multiple times, hence the '#1' in the title. I will write one of these when I don't know what to write, or what I've been recommended to write about gives me no inspiration. So, today I was thinking about 'Wierdness' and well I just have a couple things on my mind. Everyone is weird... some of us are just better at hiding it, that's my philosophy I don't know what yours is. I've been called weird and in the past I've called someone weird, but the more you think about it, we are actually ALL weird.

Today's Idiom

Today I was asked to share an Idiom and its meaning. The idiom that I have chosen is "see for dust". The meaning of "see for dust" is that if you were to say that you "won't see someone for dust" then you mean that they will leave a place very quickly, usually in order to avoid something. I think that this idiom is not used often which I feel makes it more interesting to me.

Online Learning: My thougts

I was asked to share my fears and excitements about online learning. One of my main fears of online learning is the limited time with the main teacher. Yes, there are paras there everyday but most of the time the para has no knowledge of the previous lessons, making for a class period filled with questions and confusion. Another one of my fears is the fact that technology is unpredictable. Computers crash, batteries die and malfunctions happen, and when they happen in the middle or at the beginning of class it makes for more stress on the students and the teacher. I do, however have excitements on the topic of online learning. One, of which, is the fact that schools are getting more modern and I feel that doing this makes us as students more prepared for college and eventually the real world. Technology always updates and improves and we as a society need to be experienced with technology for jobs.
